As of Spring 2011 over 12 million digital radios have been sold, and now that people are realising and enjoying the benefits that digital radio offers and coverage has improved significantly since its introduction, more and more people are looking to install DAB receivers in their cars. In Car Electrics are able to offer a variety of different options depending on your car, budget and personal preferences.
These devices normally mount on your windscreen similar to a sat nav and pick up the DAB signal and retransmit it on FM which you can tune your existing stereo into.
Using a brand new and innovative product we are able to retain your existing car stereo and enable you to listen to digital radio and search through the radio stations using either your existing steering wheel controls or a wireless remote control. This product is compatible with over 95% of cars - please contact us to confirm yours is suitable.
There are currently 3 units available that are of sufficient quality for us to offer. These are from Kenwood, JVC and Caliber. No matter what your requirements are - iPod control, Bluetooth handsfree capability, USB, we have a unit to offer you, that using fascia adaptor kits we can fit in most cars.
